English teaching-learning educational software for children, Municipality of Cotuí

Abstract

A study of research, with the aim of developing a proposal for an educational software designed to facilitate the teaching and learning of English in children who are barely in their first years of study, it contains a compendium of topics related to the different levels or degrees, aimed at the development of oral and written communication in practical language classes English, developing different auditory, linguistic, grammatical skills and reading in correspondence with your professional domain in the first cycle of the schools in Cotuí, reinforcing also work educational and instructive of the teacher with the use of technology and the cognitive and strategic independence of the student, which implies a higher level of professionalism. This investigation is an option for the preparation of resources or strategies support in less time. In the teaching of English, the use of ICTs is most used, with which the teacher has a powerful tool to motivate students, without forgetting that what is truly relevant and decisive will be tea- ching the teacher use of them. A new approach to the teaching/learning process on the inclusion of new technologies of information and communication becomes necessary. The teaching of English through the use of ICTs, contributes to motivate students and facilitates the implementation of the communicative approach to language, so the proposal reflects an integration of the curriculum design as research line of the Department. Proposed software, which contains grammar and vocabulary specific to each grade, which can be used in classes or as independent in the search work, facilitating learning of the Englishlanguage, gaining greater linguistic competence through the use of communicative situations.
