Abstract
Post-capitalist society is a knowledge-based society. Organizations will be made up of specialists, where everything will be done with decisive, democratic, and conscious participation. No “boss” will impose what needs to be done; it will be a collective decision that will be made when solving problems.
It will be a decentralized society with a high level of responsibility, where work will have significant moral value for human beings. Hence, human excellence will be emphasized, which is the raison d'être of the society of the future. Work will be done in a comprehensive manner, meaning that educational centers will be linked to communities and vice versa, so that the planning, execution, and solution of problems that arise will be the responsibility of all who are part of society.
We are experiencing a period of transition from the information age to the knowledge age, in which we are learning to assimilate, synthesize, and integrate that information. As we move forward, the social, economic, and political future of the people depends increasingly on quality education. The only way the country can compete in the new global economy is if it has quality education and a well-educated and trained workforce in order to obtain a globally competitive position.
