Abstract
ITECO's automatic pre-selection system allows students to choose courses each term; the university enrolls an average of 2,547 undergraduates per quarter across 385–400 sections, of which 34.25%–35.58% fail to meet normal enrollment thresholds. This project developed an application to select ITECO's course offerings based on academic planning, analyzing the current system via questionnaire and proposing a pre-selection control system. The proposed system lets students choose courses personally, provides timely visibility into section demand, and reduces canceled sections, improving process organization, data control, and service efficiency while reducing time and staff required.
