Abstract

N.F. Préstamos, S.A.'s personal loan system faces difficulties, particularly with client data and errors in form completion, and the information received does not allow for up-to-date accounting, hindering managers' access to accurate information. This project developed a system to control and consolidate information generated through the company's personal loans, based on a non-experimental, descriptive, cross-sectional study using a closed-question questionnaire administered to all employees. A user-friendly application was developed to control personal loans, generating reports on client loan queries, amortization tables, guarantor listings, payment records, and overdue loans. The new computerized system addresses the current system's weaknesses—slow procedures and insufficient security for confidential information—providing clear, precise, fast, and reliable information through an intuitive menu.
