Abstract
As a higher education institution, ITECO faces a complex mission in training capable and responsible professionals amid a constantly changing society. This descriptive-exploratory study examined the relevance of the Computer Science curriculum as perceived by 150 graduates (62% of the 243-strong graduate population), selected randomly and surveyed via questionnaire, with data analyzed in Microsoft Excel. A high percentage rated their university preparation as appropriate, felt on par with peers in their field, and considered their training aligned with labor-market demands. Recommendations include competitive hiring processes for faculty, ongoing training for updated knowledge, more laboratory practice in specialized courses, and closer supervision of faculty attendance and syllabus compliance.
