Publication Ethics
The editor's responsibilities include: assisting the parties involved in the event of a dispute (referees, authors); intervening if there is suspicion of misconduct in the article, providing their point of view and facilitating the resolution of these cases; publishing corrections, clarifications, and retractions; publishing content in a timely manner; identifying and preventing the publication of articles in which undesirable editorial practices have been used, including plagiarism, self-plagiarism, manipulation, and falsification of citations or data. In this regard, all suggestions from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) are fully endorsed and assumed. The following link provides detailed information on good editorial practices according to the Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.
