The impact of climatic parameters on the spread of respiratory epidemics

Abstract
This study investigates the correlation between climatic parameters and the growth rate of respiratory epidemics. The widespread occurrence of respiratory epidemics, such as COVID-19 and seasonal influenza, has increased interest in understanding how environmental factors influence their development. Among these factors, climatic conditions have received particular attention. The main hypothesis of this research is that regions with significant differences in climatic parameters also show significant differences in epidemic growth rates. Conversely, no such differences are expected when climatic conditions are similar. This hypothesis was tested through statistical analysis using the F-test and T-test at a 95% confidence level. The results indicate a clear correlation between climatic parameters and epidemic growth rates, supporting the research hypothesis and validating the proposed analytical approach.
