Abstract

ITECO encourages student participation in sports and cultural groups through its scholarship program, supported by public and private institutions, NGOs, and individuals aiding low-income students. Participating units must report scholars' academic and financial status, yet ITECO lacked a centralized system for managing this process efficiently. This project, based on a non-experimental, descriptive, cross-sectional study using a questionnaire for scholarship students and structured interviews with enrollment staff, developed a user-friendly application to automate and control scholarship enrollment at ITECO, improving documentation management (reports, listings, vouchers, receipts) and behavior tracking while avoiding data redundancy. The proposed system was found technically, operationally, and economically feasible.
